Ascension Le Film
Ascension from Ascension Le Film on Vimeo.
"Well, the movie is first of all a black humor movie : we wanted to make laugh with the bad situation of a crippled man doing a traditionnal ascent. And to make everything even worse, we wanted the movie to loop. A sisyphean, perpetual struggle. Therefore, this is also about all the struggles and the perpetual fights in life and about beliefs.
It was not meant to be, as I have seen in a comment somewhere, "a judgment from an atheist over the stupidity of the religion". It would be actually the exact opposite, but in a more personnal way.
But, again, our main purpose was to make laugh.
Hope it helped :)" ~ Ascension Le Film

Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance
"There will come a time when everybody
Who is lonely will be free...
To sing & dance & love
Who is lonely will be free...
To sing & dance & love
There will come a time when every evil
That we know will be an evil...
That we can rise above
That we know will be an evil...
That we can rise above
Who cares if hair is long or short
Or sprayed or partly grayed...
We know that hair ain't where it's at
(there will come a time when you won't
Even be ashamed if you are fat!)
Wah wah-wah wah
There will come a time when everybody
Who is lonely will be free...
To sing & dance & love (dance and love)
There will come a time when every evil
That we know will be an evil...
That we can rise above (rise above)
Who cares if you're so poor you can't afford
To buy a pair of mod a go-go stretch-elastic pants...
There will come a time when you can even
Take your clothes off when you dance"

This Train Don't Stop There Anymore
"I used to be the main express
All steam and whistles heading west
Picking up my pain from door to door
Riding on the storyline
Furnace burning overtime
But this train don't stop,
This train don't stop,
This train don't stop there anymore"
Bernie Taupin

The Horsehead Nebula from Blue to Infrared

as posted verbatim from Astronomy Picture of the Day website:
Explanation:
One of the most identifiable nebulae in the sky,
the Horsehead Nebula in Orion, is part of a large, dark,
molecular cloud.
Also known as Barnard 33, the unusual shape was first
discovered on a
photographic plate in the late 1800s.
The red glow originates from
hydrogen
gas predominantly behind the nebula, ionized by the nearby bright star
Sigma Orionis.
The darkness of the
Horsehead is caused mostly by thick
dust,
although the lower part of the
Horsehead's neck casts a shadow to the left.
Streams of gas leaving
the nebula are funneled by a strong
magnetic field.
Bright spots in the
Horsehead Nebula's base are
young stars just in the process of forming.
Light takes about 1,500 years to reach us from the
Horsehead Nebula.
The above image is a digital combination of images taken in blue, green, red, and
hydrogen-alpha light from the
Argentina, and an
image taken in
infrared light by the orbiting
Hubble Space Telescope.
